This remains the one and only motel within city limits, built in the early 1960's, it sits where a diner formerly stood. It is right next to St. Patrick's Cemetery. On the postcard from which this image came, it boasted "Heated swimming pool, color tv, direct dial phones, central heating, air conditioned rooms. Some water beds and steam baths". In 2010, when Mayor Nick Valentine proposed holding the terrorist trials in Newburgh, fellow Councilwoman Regina Angelo stated that this is one of the venues that would benefit from holding the trials at the new courthouse.
